Check the transaction date, seller residency and buyer shares before filing.
Challan-cum-statement preparation and filing. TDS on qualifying property purchase transactions.
Who is this service for?
Property TDS reporting must use the form applicable to the transaction’s tax period. The Income Tax Department’s current guide states that Form 141 consolidates earlier PAN-based forms, including Form 26QB; Schedule B covers the relevant immovable-property category under the new framework.
Relevant audience: Applicable buyers, tenants or payers (individuals / HUFs). Start with the taxpayer category, registration and period; a familiar form name alone does not establish that a service is applicable to you.
What your expert checks
What property documents should the buyer prepare?
Share the agreement, buyer and seller details, PANs, property information, consideration, relevant stamp-duty value, payment schedule and deduction records. Explain co-buyers, co-sellers and instalments. Those facts affect how the information is reported; do not submit only one person’s name because that person made the bank payment. Confirm seller residency before assuming the resident-property transaction route is appropriate.
Why do Form 26QB and Form 141 both appear in searches?
The older form name remains relevant to historical periods, while the new framework uses Form 141 for the applicable tax year and schedule. The expert checks the period and selects the correct route. The new form is not permission to combine unrelated transaction categories into one filing. A non-resident seller or a disputed withholding treatment requires separate analysis rather than an automatic property-form checkout.
Documents to keep ready
A clear working file helps the expert ask relevant questions and reduces avoidable back-and-forth. Prepare these records for the exact scope you want to purchase:
- PAN / TAN and deductor details, as applicable
- Selected financial year and quarter / transaction
- Deductee PANs and payment / deduction records
- Tax challans and previous statements where relevant
Use your consultation’s secure document facility when sharing records with the assigned expert. Do not put passwords, OTPs, personal identifiers or client documents in a public comment.
Before you approve the work
- Confirm the payment and deduction period and the seller’s residency.
- Provide the agreement, ownership shares, property values and instalment history.
- Reconcile the proposed statement with the actual TDS payment before approval.

Visit the service page for current plans and terms. A one-time plan buys its stated filing scope, not unlimited compliance work.
Annual packages, where offered, cover the named service for one agreed financial year. They do not automatically cover every GSTIN, another financial year, other filing categories or historical corrections. Access validity and the filing periods purchased are different.
How expert-assisted filing works
- Choose the right scope. Review the service, relevant period and final plan terms, or request a quote for specialist work.
- Connect with your assigned expert. After a successful eligible purchase, use the client dashboard to discuss the requirement and share the relevant records.
- Resolve the queries. The expert reviews the supplied information and asks for missing details. Review the proposed figures and required statutory payments before authorising submission.
- Keep the outcome and evidence. Retain the filed documents, acknowledgement and payment evidence relevant to the completed work.
No filing completion time, tax saving, approval or regulatory outcome is guaranteed. Incomplete documents, portal dependencies and unresolved facts can affect the work.
